With the change of the calendar comes a new beginning, and what better way to start the new season than with a new hairstyle? Hairstyles have surely inspired cultural revolutions, affected identity expression, and defined decades throughout history. From Deepika Padukone’s stunning bob to Kareena Kapoor’s balayage, the Bollywood divas have unwittingly set hairdo trends that were destined to turn heads as soon as they entered a room full of strangers.

It can be difficult to decide on a new image, but consider how they will perceive you. A new haircut is always eye-catching, and in order for it to be admired, you must be informed of current fashion trends. The stylists made certain that the clothing was not only attractive but also comfy. Haircuts that take minimal styling time are popular. On a safer side, it is always best to choose hairstyles as per your face cut. As a result, I’ve compiled a list of the most stylish summer haircuts and hairstyles for 2022, because why not?!

  1. The Sleek Voluminous Pony:

The sleek-back is a look that we’ve all admired for a long time, and the good news is that it’s not going away anytime soon. There are numerous variations on this style, one of which is a contrasting style in which the hair is slicked back in the front and loose in the back. If you want to try another hairstyle in this vein, consider a centre part and a top knot, which is now trending on social media.

  1. The Modern Day Rachel:

This cut is an iconic 90s trend that emphasises blow dried layers and was inspired by Jennifer Aniston’s character Rachel from the smash TV programme, Friends. The Rachel haircut is making a strong comeback. Although this style is frequently difficult to master, you may get it by blow drying portions of layered hair with a barrel brush and pinning those sections with rollers before letting it all out.

  1. Long Bob/ Ladder:

We all know about this haircut by hearsay, yet it never goes out of style. She maintains a commanding position among long hair haircuts. Strands that enhance the delicacy of the face’s outlines by attractively framing it. Hair that is overly thick can be profiled, whilst hair that needs more volume can be graduated.

  1. Textured Bob:

This haircut is advised for those who seek a fashionable look without losing their femininity. It’s a charming and sophisticated hairdo that resembles a summer A-line dress. The goal is to use a trowel to curl the bangs and give them a trendy look.

  1. The Bixie:

Back in the 1990s, two legendary short haircuts mated and had a baby we now know as the bixie.  The cut has matured and been modified for 2022. A bixie is a combination of a pixie cut and a bob. It’s essentially a shaggy bob with layers to create dimension and texture. And Deepika Padukone has nailed this look throughout her recent ‘Gehariyan’ promotions.

  1. Wispy Bangs:

Curtain bangs aren’t going away anytime soon, and blunt bangs are always nice, but if you want a lighter fringe, consider wispy bangs. Emily(Lily Collins) from Emily in Paris to demonstrate how it’s done. Long, thick hair can benefit greatly from wispy bangs for added softness and flow!

  1. Braids:

It’s time to remember braids in the summer of 2022. Make braids in any style you choose. Spikelets, inverted braids, a voluminous braid on the side, or weaving a semi-crown can all be used. Everything you know how to do and that suits you. However, if you are creating the simplest braid, it is preferable to slightly release the strands.

You don’t need lengthy hair to do different braids. Even with short hair, braiding is doable.

  1. Beach Waves:

This look’s name makes us want to leap straight into summer! Although we aren’t quite there yet, there is something to look forward to: playing with making waves. To achieve this classic look, you’ll need a hair wand that creates long-lasting waves that last for days.

  1. Inverted Haircut:

Do you enjoy out-of-the-ordinary solutions? Then select haircuts for youthful appearances that will set you apart from the crowd. Inverted hairstyles, for example, are those in which the hair is cut shorter in the rear than in the front.

  1. Full-Fringe Shag:

If you want a fresh look but don’t want to lose your existing long hair, I recommend Taylor Swift’s full fringe shag. Consider it the XL version of the current shag. Ask your hairdresser for a style with a lot of layers, volume, bangs, face framing, and length – this will communicate the message that you want a shag like this. But, as usual, bring a visual reference with you.

It’s 2022, and there’s no clear distinction between male and female haircuts in the current world, which is excellent since it allows you to explore and try on different images. While savage bearded men wear pigtails and chopsticks, ladies can flaunt a once-masculine hairdo called a half-box in public.

There is no hard and fast rule that you must be your sexiest self every day. What is possible, though, is to be confident in who you are and to embrace your own self. It doesn’t matter if your hair is curly, wavy, or pine-straight. Nothing can stop you from being your authentic self and owning it in front of the world! So, go out there you lovely ladies and take the world by storm!!!!
