AMAZON AND NETFLIX MOVIES AND SERIES TO WATCH THIS WEEKEND!

The spring break went in a snap of our fingers and the hot temperatures are killing everyone and all we want is not to go out and get parched but to get cosy with the perfect AC temperature and binge watch with a tub of popcorn and ice cream! And you know what I get it! So the weekend is here and I have picked out the perfect Amazon and netflix series and movies list just for you lovely people to binge watch.

AMAZON:

  1. FAMILY MAN

This series is about a middle-class man who works for a national investigation agency’s special cell. Given that the actor Manoj Bajpaye sir has nailed his performance by being a true gentleman while playing a person who protects the nation from terrorists but also has to protect his family due to the impact of his low-paying job. This series is thrilling because it features tough characters, action, drama, and, most importantly, a portrayal of what a true family man is.

  1. INSIDE EDGE

This show is about the drama that surrounds the world of cricket in India. It’s an Amazon India original piece that delves into the glamorous T-20 cricket played in India and how politics play a role in it. There will be just the right amount of drama and entertainment for you.

  1. COMING 2 AMERICA

If you need a pick-me-up after a long week, look no further than this film! It’s about an African king named Akeem who wants an heir for his throne because he believes it’s time to retire as a king, and he discovers that he has a long-lost son in America whom he must bond with if he wants him to run his throne. Doesn’t that sound great? It has the perfect balance of comedy and drama, as well as everything else we need in a good movie to clear our minds.

NETFLIX:

  1. DECOUPLED

Nobody can deny that they enjoy a good laugh with a dash of drama.

Decoupled is a comedy-drama series with a surprising twist in each episode that will make you laugh. It’s about a writer and his wife who throw a party to announce their divorce, but life has other plans for them, and they end up exposing other absurd relationships in their world. The best part is that there isn’t a single episode that won’t make you laugh or show the scandals that our beloved R. Madhavan creates in the series.

  1. THE WEDDING RINGER

This film has a strong resemblance to a film about introverts. A story about a sweet but ridiculously wealthy man who is getting married in two weeks. He lies about having friends and the bride is unaware; eventually, he goes to a secret company and hires groomsmen to come to his wedding pretending to be their best friends, and the film devolves into a charade full of laughter and drama. So this could be a movie you watch when you want a good dose of drama, comedy, and romance, or just something enjoyable to watch.

  1. 83

We all remember the 1983 World Cup, and this film is dedicated to how the 11-men team won the World Cup, as well as to all 19th-century cricket fans. It depicts how Kapil Dev led India’s cricket team to win this prestigious award, defeating the twice-over world cup champions West Indies and firmly establishing India on the cricket world stage.

So there you have it, a wide range of recommendations for the perfect binge watching weekend and getting lousy on the couch to sit peacefully and spoil yourself! Try these out and let me know how you like them, and I’ll see you in the next one!
