MILLENNIAL WEDDING OF THE YEAR: ALIA BHATT’S WEDDING LOOK DECODED!

The millennial wedding of the year has been doing rounds on the internet and the WHOLE social media, let me emphasise it enough: THE WHOLE SOCIAL MEDIA is going gaga over this adorable couple’s muted wedding look. So, if by now you haven’t come across Alia Bhatt in her Fairy-like ensemble, you need to take a break in life!

When we hear the term “Indian bride,” we envision a woman dressed up in a crimson over-the-top wedding lehenga and wearing heavy jewellery and makeup. While the image of a traditional Indian bride has been imprinted in us through the years, modern-day brides are defying these expectations. Many Indian brides, most recently Alia Bhatt, are defying preconceptions. For her wedding outfit, the Bollywood bride of the year tapped her inner minimalist and incorporated some unique elements that gave her bridal look a personal touch. Her dreamlike wedding style in an ivory saree turned attention. If you, too, prefer to avoid the typical bridal appearance in favour of something more intimate, simple, and connected to the roots.

On Thursday, Ranbir and Alia married in a private wedding ceremony at the former’s Bandra home Vastu. In the company of relatives and close friends, the two took pheras. And the wedding photos are far too cute to pass up.

SabyaSachi is Bollywood’s go-to wedding designer. From Deepika Padukone to Neha Kakkar to Alia Bhatt. No  B-town couple has gone without at least one garment from the former’s beautiful collection. You want red? Sabya! Something in pink? Sabya! Or do you wish to keep it subtle with Ivory? Sabya! You name it, and this Fashion God’s descendant will be there to blow your mind!

Alia Bhatt dressed for the wedding ceremony in a hand dyed ivory organza sari adorned with delicate tilla work and an embroidered hand woven tissue veil. Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery with uncut diamonds and hand strung pearls.

While Ranbir Kapoor was complimenting her misses,  dressed in an embroidered silk sherwani with Sabyasachi uncut diamond buttons, a silk organza safa, and a zari marori shawl. Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery’s kilangi comprises uncut diamonds, emeralds, and pearls, as well as a multi strand pearl necklace.

While we await, for the couple’s wedding bash pictures to surface:Alia and Ranbir finished their wedding and returned to work nearly immediately. Ranbir was spotted on his way to a production studio for a meeting on Sunday. The actor is said to be preparing for his upcoming film Animal. Alia will also be working on Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. If you are as big Bollywood Junkie as I am, then behold your seats as I’ll be back real soon with a complete guide of Alia Bhatt’s wedding celebration looks from Mehandi to wedding to the after party till her first appearance as Mrs. Kapoor! Until then, stay safe, stay happy and keep sharing!!
