Let’s learn to make these three refreshing coffee drinks at home, for you and for your guests!
Dalgona Coffee
Let’s start with something light. If you are the leftover someone who hadn’t made Dalgona coffee during lockdown days, kindly make one today. Here is a quick recipe to make this milky, light, and sweet with a hint of bitterness coffee version in minutes.
All you need:
- 2 Tbsp instant coffee (Any brand of your choice)
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- Hot water as required
- Ice (optional)
- Milk
How to make:
- In a cup or small bowl take instant coffee, sugar, and 2 tbsp hot water and whip it until the foam comes, using an electric mixer or simply a fork/spoon.
- Fill your favourite coffee cup with ice (avoid if want hot one) and milk and top it off with the foam you just made.
- Now, mix the coffee mixture well with the foam and have it hot. Do not forget to make the ‘mmm..’ sound.
Mint mojito iced coffee
How about a non-alcoholic-based yet equally delicious and satisfying mojito drink? Welcome home mojito iced coffee! I am sure this one will make you even crazy for coffee. If you need a twist, feel free to add 1½ ounces of dark rum.
All you need:
- 1½ cups cold brew coffee (store-bought or homemade)
- 10 large fresh mint leaves (plus more for garnish)
- Zest of 1 lime
- 1 tbsp turbinado sugar
- Ice
- cream (optional)
How to make:
- Now, take a large cocktail shaker and add mint leaves, lime zest and sugar. Mash them together using a muddler or just a wooden spoon.
- Fill the shaker with ice and add the coffee.
- Close and shake it vigorously for 20 seconds. Strain the juice into a glass filled with ice.
- Serve it black or add a splash of cream, if desired.
- Add dark rum, if you want to make it a cocktail.
Caramel Iced Coffee
I know you want more recipes like this, but for today this one is the last one! But the splendid one.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups coffee
- 2 tbsp baking cocoa
- Ice cubes
- 1/2 cup caramel bits
- Milk (optional)
- 1/2 cup French vanilla creamer
How to make:
- In a saucepan add baking cocoa and caramel bits and bring it to a simmer and stir frequently until everything is well blended
- The coco may settle and that’s fine.
- Set aside and allow it to cool.
- Now in a blender add coffee, caramel mixture and ice. Blend until smooth.
- Pour it into a glass with milk(avoid if you prefer a black one) and top it off with whipped cream and drizzle the excess caramel over it. Voila! it’s done.
