“Beauty is about being comfortable in your own skin. It’s about knowing and accepting who you are.”- Ellen Degenres.
Turning 30 as a woman can be both exciting and terrifying; while you have found a better and more settled place in your life, you also have new responsibilities. Your body changes dramatically; your immune system and metabolism begin to decline, and you may gain weight, especially if you’re a new mother. With all of these responsibilities, you must always have a self-care routine in your 30s to take a break from their usual world and relax. So here are some health tips for women in their glittering 30’s.
1. EXERCISE
One of the most common mistakes made by women in their 30s is to completely disregard staying fit or losing weight. Most married women neglect their physical well-being and later regret it, but you must understand that if you do not lose weight or stay physically fit, it will be more difficult for you to do anything in the future because your body will give up. To keep yourself and your heart healthy, give your body at least a half-hour of exercise.
2. SLEEP
The sleep cycle varies with age, but women are the first to wake up and the last to sleep. But, in your 30s, it’s time to pamper yourself with sleep because if you don’t, you’ll be tired and cranky for no reason. So, during this time, make sure you get at least 7-8 hours of sleep, which will increase your productivity, meaning you’ll be able to accomplish more in less time!
3. MEDITATE & HAVE MINDFULNESS
Taking care of your mind is very important in this stage, Many women and especially new mothers may have anxiety, postpartum depression and many other problems, so I would suggest you look after your mind because after all a happy mind is key to your happiness, so make sure you take care of it by meditating, reading books, listening to good music, creating positive vibes and so on.
4. DO REGULAR MEDICAL CHECKS
When it comes to your health, getting regular medical checks through your gynaecologists is essential for breast examinations and other tests to determine if you have any cancer cells in your body. Even with these exams, learn about Vitamin D and calcium because they are the most deficient in your body at this stage and can be a cause of your weakness.
5. DON’T FORGET TO HAVE FUN
Even if you don’t have time to do something for yourself, you should do something that brings you joy. Whatever you do, whether it’s going out with your friends, taking tap classes, painting, or anything else, don’t forget to keep yourself happy; it’s essential no matter your age.
Women in their thirties and forties are always busy with their personal and professional lives, but no matter how busy you are, try to be a little selfish too because if your mind and body are happy, your life will be easier and you will always find a way to shine like a diamond!
